30-ton log splitter – 40-ton log splitter
The Log Splitter is an efficient, towable, heavy-duty machine that will split your wood for you. If you are chopping wood regularly, a Log Splitter is the perfect solution to save both your time and your energy. At BJ Howes Metaland we stock two types of Log Splitters, a 30 Ton Hydraulic Log Splitter and a 40 Ton Log Splitter. The 30 Ton Log Splitter is powered by a Honda GX200 engine and has 2 big loading tables. Additionally, it is designed in Australia and comes with a jockey wheel and hitch to make it towable.
The 40 Ton Log Splitter offers a high quality, easy to use unit, with a powerful 13HP OHV petrol engine with a manual recoil start. It is manufactured with a removable log table and a heavy-duty steel frame. Contact your local BJ Howes Metaland for more enquiries regarding our Log Splitter range.

Post Driver
Post Drivers are used when constructing a fence, to drive fence posts into the ground with ease. At BJ Howes Metaland, we currently stock a 4 Stroke Post Driver and a Heavy-Duty Post Driver. Both Post Drivers are manufactured with the Australian environment and conditions in mind. The 4 Stroke Post Driver is powered by the Honda GX35 engine, which allows it to drive in maxi posts, standard star pickets, viniculture posts, ground rods and galvanised pipe. It is the lightest 4 Stroke Post Driver in Australia, making it easy to use and transport. The Heavy-Duty Post Driver is powered by a Honda GX50 engine, with a heavy-duty gear box and compressor. It is perfect to drive a range of larger sized posts into the toughest ground.
Earth Auger
Earth Augers are most commonly used for digging holes, to create a new base to build new fences in. At BJ Howes Metaland, we have three types of Earth Augers available, the One Person Earth Auger, Two Person Earth Auger and the One Person Wheeled Earth Auger. The One Person Earth Auger is powered by a Honda GX35 4 stroke engine with a heavy-duty gearbox. The Two Person Earth Auger is powered by a Honda GX50 engine which will allow it to drill through the ground continuously fast. The One Person Wheeled Earth Auger is powered by a Honda GX50 engine and features a trolley with a wheel for easy transportation between drilling each hole. It only requires one person to operate it, but it does the job of 2 people
