At BJ Howes Metaland, we supply and stock a wide range of stock posts to suit your fencing and agricultural needs. Our star posts are available in heavy duty or light, as well as black or hot-dipped galvanised finishes, ensuring that they withstand any environment.

Strainers and Stays
Strainer posts and stays provide strength and stability to all types of fences. Strainer posts are typically placed at the corner, gate, or end of a fence to prevent sagging. Strainer stays are used to provide extra support, keeping strainer posts upright and secure under pressure. When used together, they are made to withstand outdoor environments, livestock and everyday use. Our strainers and stays are available in a black or galvanised finish and a wide range of sizes including:

Caps
Protect the top of your fence posts with our range of fence post caps, designed to fit various post types and finishes. The fence post caps are used to act extra protection against its environment by preventing anything (such as water) from sitting on the top of the fence. Fence post caps can also protect livestock from getting injured by metal fences. Additionally, they are used to enhance the overall appearance of your fence by creating a finished look. We stock caps to suit all styles of fence posts, including round steel galvanised caps, galvabond caps, black polypropylene plastic caps and star post caps.
