Paint Thinners

IDEAL FOR DILUTING PAINTS OR CLEANING IN THE WORKSHOP

Paint thinners and solvents are commonly used in the heavy industrial and trade industries. They are typically made from petroleum distillates, and can be flammable and emit strong fumes. It is important to use paint thinners in a well-ventilated area, wear protective gloves and eyewear, and follow all safety precautions listed on the label.
Some examples of thinners and solvents include; acetone, mineral spirits, turpentine, denatured alcohol, xylene, isopropyl alcohol, citrus solvent. Many of these are strong and fast acting, removing coatings, adhesives, inks, stains or can be used to clean and prep metal. Others are ideal for cleaning brushes, tools and equipment while paint is still wet.
